Commissioner  of Insurance Dr. Baghayo Saqware paid courtesy to the Lindi Regional Commissioner and the Of Region Police Commander Offices in the Lindi Region to introduce the Authority’s Offices in the Southern Zone.

In the visit Dr. Saqware was received by the Regional Administrative Secretary Ms. Zuwena Omary Jiri and Acting Regional Police Commander SAC. E. Kabaleki.

Dr. Saqware noted that the Authority's decision to open these offices is to ensure that supervision of the insurance services is brought closer to the community by ensuring that the insurance market reaches many people.

Speaking about the presence of the Authority in Lindi Region Mrs. Zuwena congratulated the Authority for the decision as Lindi region is in the middle of Mtwara and Ruvuma regions which will make it easier for citizens to get services.

Also, Commander Kabaleki said the Police Force is ready to cooperate with the authority’s officials of the Southern Zone to ensure that the insurance law is implemented.

The authority has opened the South Zone Offices in Lindi Region which will serve Lindi, Mtwara and Ruvuma regions.
