Provision of insurance education and awareness to the public;

Protection of consumersand beneficiaries of insurance products and services;

Promote, supervise and ensure stability and sustaibability of the insurance sub - sector;

Regulate and supervise Universal Health Insurance in Tanzania; and

Advice the Goverment on policy, and other insurance-related matters in the country
