Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) in collaboration with the Insurance Institute of Tanzania (IIT) has organized insurace walk that will take place on saturday 5th November 2022 in Dar es Salaam aiming at insurance awareness creation and  promoting insurance services in the country. The walk will involve Institute of Finance Management (IFM) students, insurance service providers, sponsors as well as Government officials. This walk will be initiated by the Commissioner of Insurance Dr. Baghayo Abdallah Saqware and be received by the Ilala District Commissioner Hon. Ng'wilabuzu Ndatwa Ludigija. The route will be: IIT Offices - Uhuru Heights - Institute of Finance Management (IFM) - Askari Monument - Clock Tower - ending at Mnazi Mmoja Grounds. There after, the open forum for insurance and exhibitions will continue at the same grounds. It is expected that the citizens of the Dar es Salaam region will have the opportunity to visit at the venue and get an understanding of insurance issues and its procedures.
