The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA), through the Lake Zone and in collaboration with insurance companies, provided various donations to Somanda Hospital and Bariadi Secondary School in Bariadi District, Simiyu Region, on August 23, 2024.

Various supplies for human use were donated, including soap, sanitary pads, balls, notebooks, etc. The Bariadi District Director, Mr. Adrian Jungu, also attended the event, representing the Regional Commissioner, Hon. Kenan Kihongosi.

Following the donation, some participants had the opportunity to hold a strategic meeting to strengthen the insurance market in the country.

The Lake Zone serves the regions of Mwanza, Simiyu, Mara, Geita, and Kagera.
