The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA), On 06th March 2023 welcomed the Insurance Ambassadors namely Hon. Engineer Zena Said (right) who is the Chief Secretary and the Secretary of the revolutionary government of Zanzibar and Hon. Wanu Hafidh Ameir (left) is a Member of the National Assembly of the United Republic. Ambassadors met with the Commissioner of Insurance Dr.Baghayo Saqware standing at the (middle), Deputy Commissioner of Insurance Khadija Said and Mr. Rajab Kakusa CEO of TANRE attended the meeting. The three Insurance Ambassadors including Hon. Japhet Hasunga (who is not in the picture) have started their duties to join hands with TIRA and insurance industry stakeholders in the area of awareness and advising the Authority as part of the implementation of the meeting of General secretaries held September 2022 in Dodoma. On his part, Dr.Saqware congratulated the Insurance ambassadors for seeing the importance of joining hands with TIRA to increase the development of the insurance sub-sector.
