On August 29, 2023, the employees of  of Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) held a employees meeting for all staff members, led by the Insurance Commissioner Dr. Baghayo A. Saqware, who is also the Chairman of the meeting, along with Ms. Khadija I. Said, Deputy Insurance Commissioner.
During the meeting, various topics were presented, which are catalysts for significant efficiency in the institution's performance. The presented topics included the Incentive Schemes Plan, presented by the Director of Administration and Human Resources, Ms. Hawa Mniga; Insurance Laws, Regulations, and Guidelines, presented by the Legal officer Mr. Okoka Mgavilenzi; Research Report presented by Mr. Samwel Mwiru, Director of Marketing, Planning, and Research; another topic covered ICT procedures related to Online Registrations System and Verification of Motor and Non Motor using TIRAMIS system, presented by Mr. Sefu Bakari in collaboration with Ms. Tamali Mwakyosi; Registration, Inspection, and Insurance Statistics topic presented by Mr. Bahati Ogola; a topic related to Revenue and Infrastructure presented by Mr. Andrew Msina, Chief Accountant from the Accounting Directorate; and finally, a discussion about record keeping presented by Ms. Bahati Likasa, Senior Records Keeper.
The discussions during the meeting have brought forth solutions to various challenges, which will contribute to productive work in the insurance sector.
