Today 08.07.2023 the insurance stakeholders and citizens of Dar es Salaam region have held an insurance walk “Bimawalk”.  The event was organized by the Insurance Institute of Tanzania (IIT) in collaboration with the Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) and various stakeholders of the insurance sector.

The walk, aimed at promoting the importance of insurance as a catalyst for the growth and development of the economy of the nation began in Mlimani City at 08:00 a.m. where the Regional Commissioner of Dar es Salaam Hon. Albert Chalamila participated as an official guest accompanied by the Commissioner of Insurance Dr. Baghayo Saqware and various leaders of the Authority office, insurance companies, insurance industry stakeholders and citizens of Dar es Salaam region.
